Note that:
-
Albedo: [0;1] - Snow : 0.9 ; Grass : 0.3.
-
Net Solar radiation: Solar radiation that is absorbed by the earth surface. Always positive. 0 at night.
-
Net Far Infrared radiation: Often negative.Roughly independent of ambient temperature
-
Sky temperature : Clear conditions : sky temperature lower than ambient temperature & cloudy conditions : sky temperature is equal to ambient temperature
-
Ground temperature : assumed to be roughly equal to ambiant temperature. May be lower than ambient temperature during the night and higher during the day.
